I recently read a quote I really liked and certainly one with which I could identify:

“Challenges are what makes life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.”

We at Telesis have been presented with some additional challenges and you may be wondering how or if it will impact our students and your lives. Well, I can tell you that I am no stranger to challenges as, ever since Telesis first began 25 years ago in 1991, there have been a whole variety of challenges we overcame in order for the school to grow. I assure you Telesis will get through this one too! There may be some changes and some new arrangements that have to be made, but we will persevere and overcome whatever obstacles come our way. My commitment is a lifelong one. This is just a blip on the radar screen and we will continue to go and grow into our second 25-year era.

Please do not worry, panic, or make any quick decisions as those are the things that could actually hurt the situation. We have everything under control and we are working with our financial consultants. Our focus will be on bettering the school, taking care of our staff and students, and maintaining financial stability. We were able to begin charting our course shortly after we removed the prior budget chair. Please stay tuned and thank you for all you have done and continue to do for Telesis.

Sincerely,

Dr. Sandra Breece
